Treasure Planet, DVD, watched February 8th
a sci-fi version of the story, Treasure Island.
I quite like this film, though a lot of people haven't really heard of it, it is an interesting version of the story, the visuals are amazing, the characters and the interactions they have with each other are interesting and believable. It's a fun, animated, action adventure film.
Lilo and Stitch, DVD, Watched February 9th
A little girl adopts an alien fugitive as a pet.
I love this movie, it's visually beautiful, the characters are offbeat and funny. And the situation the sisters are in as well as the interactions and relationship between is incredibly believable and realistic. Lilo acts like a real kid, someone who doesn't quite fit in, and a lot of people can relate to that.
The sci-fi stuff is a bit silly in comparison to the rest of the film.
